Arctic Black Carbon Initiative

    Supported by U.S. Department of Energy (S-OES-11_IAA-0027), we developed a black carbon sectoral (gas flaring, residential, transportation, industry, and power plants) emissions dataset (0.1 X 0.1) for Russia at the first time. By using this new Russia emissions dataset, it has been demonstrated that the model ability of simulating the Arctic black carbon level and seasonality was greatly improved (Huang et al., 2015).
